Carpets form an important role in the beauty of a house. Carpets are available in various shapes and sizes, textures, looks etc. every living as well as non living thing demands care. Carpets themselves being non living add life to our living rooms or drawings rooms or study rooms. A good carpet adds to the beauty of a room. But if these carpets are not kept clean and if not properly maintained then a carpet can convert the look of a living room to a look of a store room. Thus proper care has to be taken.

A bulk of the carpet soil lies below pile surface much like an iceberg hides below the surface of the water. This hidden soil contains the rough surfaces which destroy the carpet fibers. These abraded areas appear dull and trap the soil particles. If this trapping of soil particles continues then the loss of fiber in the traffic lanes can occur. The carpet care system is used frequently to combat the various soil levels.

The carpets demand a thorough cleaning every day. A carpet of a living room is the most badly hit and demands maximum care. One main cause why the carpet gets dirty is due to the hairs of pets. If not cleaned regularly then the hairs stick in the fibers of carpet thus giving it a very dirty look. Also many times some food items just fall from our hands or from our utensils thus causing lots of stains. Stains of carpets are very hard to remove and demand treatment as soon as possible. Also some stains produce stink thus causing an unpleasing atmosphere in the house. Thus proper care of carpets is needed.

A carpet demands proper vacuuming at regular intervals of time. Vacuuming not only removes dust and dirt, but also bits of food, paper, candies, cakes etc are sucked by the pressure of air. Thus giving the carpet a new look. Various kinds of Vacuuming equipments are available in the market. One can buy a vacuum according to his or her pocket and requirements. The vacuum cleaners can be backing packed vacuums or upright vacuums. A back packed vacuum can be easily carried on the back. We can hold its duct in our hand can easily reach out for the places which are not easily by the upright vacuum cleaners. Thus with these vacuums cleaners the carpet under the places like furniture of low height etc. can be easily cleaned. The upright vacuums are available in various heights. A tall person can go for a vacuum cleaner of twenty inches while a person short in height can opt for a vacuum cleaner of shorter height.
